    • Forgiving God, they may not be beaten down or lying by the road, but there are people we pass by regularly. Some are family and friends who we take for granted that we cannot see how we have stripped them of our love and compassion. Others are neighbours: who have been left half-dead by crushing work; who have fallen into the hands of despair; or who have been abandoned by those who passed by them. Others are strangers, judged to be weak, or poor, or the enemy or because they remind us of who we once were, or could become. Rescue us from the power of our sins, Gracious God. Pour out Your mercy on us, rather than Your judgment, that we would be moved with pity, and spurred to action; that we would extend mercy on all we meet, even as we have received forgiveness ourselves. Through Jesus, our Lord, we pray. Amen
  • Declaration of Forgiveness
    • In Christ Jesus we are a radically renewed community. As Christ lives within us, old things are done away with, and all things become new. We are ambassadors of grace and reconciliation. With every step or stumble, Christ will be with us.
