The event will be held on January 11th, 2020, at Knox at 2964 Richmond Rd., with doors opening at 2 pm, a presentation and discussion at 2:30, and refreshments to follow. We also have the pleasure of welcoming Andrea as our guest preacher at St. Andrew’s on Sunday, January 12th.

St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church presents recitals by students from the University of Victoria School of Music.

Jorge Carrizales presents an early afternoon piano recital “Echos of Mexico”, highlighting a range of modern Mexican composers from the late 19th century until now.

Jorge Eduardo Flores Carrizales was born in Nuevo Laredo, Mexico. He obtained a B. Mus. with honours from the University of Guanajuato in 2016, where he studied with Elena Podzharova. He has given recitals in Mexico and the United States, and is his final year of a Master’s program in piano performance at the University of Victoria, where he studies under Arthur Rowe.
