Rev. Mitch Coggin has been at St. Andrew’s since July 2018. He holds dual membership as a minister member of The Presbyterian Church in Canada and The Presbyterian Church (USA) and has served congregations in Georgia, Indiana and Tennessee. Mitch serves as a faculty member of the Presbyterian Church (USA) in Transitional Ministry Education. He earned a Master of Divinity and is a ministry and congregational coach certified with the International Coach Federation. Mitch is married to Linda Coggin and has two adult children that live in California and Ohio.

Christine Purvis is the Interim Director of Music Ministry. She holds degrees from McGill University in Montreal, and the University of British Columbia as well as further studies on organ and harpsichord in England and in Vancouver. She has performed extensively on organ and voice. Christine served as organist and music director at churches in Courtenay, Comox and Penticton. She moved to Victoria in 2013 and was President of the Victoria Chapter of the Royal Canadian College of Organists from 2013 – 2018.
Whitney has been the sole administrator at St. Andrew’s since 2010. She enjoys community involvement while serving on the board of the Victoria Scottish Gaelic Choir Society, as an outreach volunteer at Our Place, serving on the Session at Trinity Presbyterian and writing for online magazines. She enjoys many creative pursuits (dabbling in everything from fibre arts to digital design), learning about social history and spending time with her husband and their cat.
