As part of underground asset renewal, the City of Victoria will be replacing a water main on Blanshard St and Douglas St. Construction is expected to begin in June 2022 and be completed by the end of the year.

The upgrade will serve our growing community and keep our underground assets in good condition to reduce future maintenance costs and help protect critical infrastructure from climate and seismic events.

The scope of the project includes:

• Blanshard St from Fort St to Caledonia St
• Douglas St from Fort St to Broughton St
